Bradley Thomas Yarnall - Basics
MENU

The front of Brad's birth announcement. Bradley is a name his parents, Polly and Tom, liked.

This is a copy of the inside of the announcement we sent to Polly's sister, Carolyn.

Brad was given the middle name, Thomas, in honor of his dad and paternal grandfather.

Brad's brother (Steven Vincent) was given his middle name in honor of his maternal grandfather. It was also his dad's middle name.

The picture on the left is the only time grandfather and grandson saw each other because it was the only visit by his grandfather Yarnall.

Because of the divorce of Tom's parents, Brad got to see only his grandmother Yarnall on a regular basis.

Another factor contributing to the lack of visits was that grandfather Yarnall lived with his sons, Bill and Bob, in California and Georgia after a very debilitating stroke in 1976.
Gifts for the new baby brother. My sister Sue really had the decorations ready.
Birth date, birthplace, and early residences
On the right is a picture of him being brought home by his mother to 148 Weston Drive in 1971. Brother Steve and sister Louise (in the doorway) and the Halloween pumpkins are happy he has arrived.

Brad lived in Cherry Hill, NJ until about 1994 when he moved away from "home" to attend Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ and was working as an intern in the actuarial consulting field.

Physical characteristics
He grew to be 6' tall. His weight was in the range of 160 to 170. He always had dark hair as a child.

Childhood and teen years highlights
Brad was very good with numbers and he was very interested in sports. In 1983 he was the person in charge of the bets placed by our guests at our football super bowl parties. Later the betting was done with computer spreadsheets with his help. He was a good student and was selected to participate in a program called Olympics of the Mind in the fifth grade. He had a good time at his sister's wedding in 1988.
