| This was a very sudden and surprising loss. Her aorta burst. We had a very nice memorial service for my favorite aunt. I took her cremains to the Arlington Cemetery to be buried with other Palm family members. She had a nice 19 years of retirement. Rossmoor was about five miles from where my office was when I worked for Sperry Univac. I got to visit her fairly often. Her home was right near where I played some "after work" golf at the Forsgate Country Club. |
At the memorial service for my aunt I read a little statement to the folks who attended the service. I wanted to convey how much I admired her and I also thanked her for all she did for me. I wish I had done it more often while she was living. |
