St James Church
John and Joanna Yarnold were members of the Church of St James in Oddingley, Worcestershire, England during the reign of King Henry VI of England 1422-1461. The Yarnold-Yarnall-Yarnell family name seems to have originated in a county named Worcestershire in England. The first recorded spelling of the family name in Worcestershire is shown to be that of John (aka Johannes) and Joanna (aka Johana) Yarnold, which was dated about 1460 A.D.
