My Genealogy Poem

For Christmas Day dinner We dined with those dear,
I'd set aside records updated that year.

Tell stories of our folks who'd set out a plate.
Oh my how we loved them. Their dinners were great.

I mentioned far places where kinfolk were born.
Cite towns with strange titles abandoned or worn.

Cause all of our children were hard to impress,
I'd sit as I pondered that day without stress.

What clues can be given? What hints to remind?
So we won't be old folks our offspring can't find.
