Post-War Disability Income Request

William H Yarnall paid $10 to an attorney to process his claim to a US pension that a law just passed would allow. He was basing his claim to be declared a partial invalid (unable to work). This would initiate a $17 monthly pension. His signature is at the bottom of this document. According to this document, he was age 49 on July 29, 1890. Since other records show he was born in 1840, he must have been born after July 29, 1840.

Here is my signature as a comparison.
