Mother saved an envelope with a postmark of Lansdale, PA August 15, 1939.
It had a 3-cent stamp on it. In the envelope was this letter. My Aunt Sarah took
me and my brother Bob to visit my grandfather Palm's house. It might have been during the time my
mother and father briefly separated. Aunt Sarah had me write to my mom. Looks like I had
not yet learned to deal with left and right margins and my small "Ls"
resembled "ones" at age 7.
