We lived here at two different times. When I was 4 and when I was 8. |

In 1920 a new mill named Kent Mill opened within walking
distance of this new home. That is where Grant and his daughter Rose worked. Some combination of Yarnalls lived in this house
into the late 1950s. I suspect it was until my Aunt Rose no longer lived
there after she was taken to Fair Acres for her cancer treatment and care.
She died in 1957.

The picture on the left is from google maps in 2017. It shows how the neighborhood looks. A porch is enclosed on the house to the right next to where we lived. Sidewalks have been replaced and enlarged. In 2020 the houses will be 100 years old. They look pretty good. The curb was where I played curb ball for many hours. |
