Places in Chester, PA where my great grandfather (William H Yarnall) lived after 1900.

Pause your cursor on the Yarnall Street line (just two blocks left of the highway to the Commodore Barry bridge). Pause your cursor on the two red pins.
Pin shows where 502 Wilson Street is. Pin shows where 1149 Spruce Street is.
The red highway that goes over the bridge was opened in 1974. I-95 highway built in 1950s.
Flower Street was the road leading to the ferry from 1930 until 1974. Below is a picture of the Chester side of the river showing the ferry dock. There were two slips for ferries to dock when loading and unloading vehicles. The ferries in the picture are not in the slips. In the 40's and 50's we used the ferry to go to the Jersey beaches. The bridge highway was built above Flower Street. Yarnall Street is to the left behind the large tank.
