Mother really enjoyed the beach. She found many ways to get us there even though we did not own a car for many years.
She did so many things for others that they invited her (with her children) to visit.
We have some pictures when we were a family of four at the beach.
I believe this was in the summer of 1939 so the ages would be 7 for me and 1+ for Bob because his birthday was in October.
