A comment in the track team section of the 1929 yearbook indicated that they needed a replacement for the pole vault position.
So my Uncle Bill had dropped out of college either at the end of his sophomore year or during his junior year.
He was registered to attend in the fall of 1929.
Perhaps he started and had to drop out prior to the spring semester when the track team would compete.
