Maintaining the rental property Comments and pictures would go here if any had been provided. Activities with his children and grandchildren Bob's son (Bobby) was an outstanding golfer. Bob took a great deal of pride in his son's golf skills because he worked with his son extensively to help him become so skilled. He would caddy for him in tournaments. Those were very happy days even if the scores were not always great. We all got a chance to get together one last time when his son got married on May 8, 1999 because Bob did not come to our family reunion at Ocean City, NJ in 2002. Doing research for his daughter's tragic illness Bob did everything in his power to find out how to save his oldest child, Susan Kim. He asked questions of many medical professionals. They were questions based on extensive medical research that he did. He sent out a number of write-ups to the family members that he developed to reflect what he had learned about possible treatments. Home improvements Over the years he had a condemed house moved from Alpharetta, GA to a site he discovered in Cumming, GA. He remodeled that house inside and out. He added a garage and a porch. He died on Friday afternoon (9/26/03) while doing more home improvements. Final moment Christian Yarnall found her father when she returned home from school that afternoon. He had been spray-painting some peg board, shelves, and cabinets for his garage and apparently had a massive heart attack sometime earlier. He was not in poor health and had been at the driving range hitting golf balls with his son on the prior Wednesday evening. He was the go-to guy because he was available and willing to help relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed. He was only 65. It was a shock to all of us. His cremains were not buried anywhere. There is no headstone. |
