My big sale was to the National Bank of Fairfax. There were three other men on our team that covered the mortgage banks, the commercial banks, and the investment banks in northern Virginia, southern Maryland, and Washington DC.
Because of my tenacity in dealing with the banks in Maryland, a rep from Baltimore named John Sinwell who became a sales manager in Richmond Virginia requested that I be transferred to Richmond to head up the financial team there.
