Subsequent records indicate he was born in 1840 so he would have been 29 or 30 depending on his date of birth and the date of the census. | There was a column for the indication of male (M) and female (F). There was a column for race with W for white for each occupant. There was also a column indicating occupation. He was a farmer. His wife Kate was "keeping house". |
