My sister Carolyn was my Maid of Honor. Tom’s sister Sue was my bridesmaid. Tom’s brother Bill was one of our ushers. Bill made a special trip from California to join us today. Tom’s high school buddy, Hop Harrigan (our other usher) could not make it because he lives in Texas. We miss Tom’s brother Bob. He was Best Man at our wedding. He passed in 2003.

Priscilla and Rich Rosenberg are here. Priscilla and I met while attending Art School. Priscilla has an Art Studio in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. My high school buddy Goody (Krauss) and her Mom were wedding guests. Goody and I attended Cheltenham High. Goody is here today with her husband, Bill Lounsbury. They are from Lewes, Delaware. Some other wedding guests were Tom’s classmates at Springfield High School. Margaret and Ralph Lamb / Louise and Erwin Panczner are here. They came from Springfield, Pennsylvania and Brant Beach, New Jersey. Tom’s Aunt Kay and Uncle Tom attended our wedding. Their son, Tom Scott, and his wife, Ellie, are here from Aldan, PA

Jean & Tore Casella / Grace & Andy Horodysky / Beryl & Tom Jackson / Carol & Barry Longmier are here. Anything these girls cook up is de-li-cious! Carol and Buzz Bierly, former neighbors, now live in Florida most of the year. Luckily, today they only had to travel from their home in Hershey’s Mill near West Chester, Pennsylvania. Barbara Bardon, Tom’s high school classmate, was able to join us. Sherrill Casner, another classmate of Tom’s is here with her husband, Charlie. They are neighbors in Sun City at Bluffton, South Carolina. We will have a mini reunion with them next week at Barbara’s place in Ocean City, New Jersey. By the way - Sherrill, Barbara and Louise were all cheerleaders at Springfield High School. Lee and June Huebner are here from Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Lee was Tom’s college roommate. Both are great cooks. They have a nice collection of Toby mugs too.

 

OUR WONDERFUL FAMILY MEMBERS JOINED US TO CELEBRATE

My sister, the golfer, and her husband, Ron Wallace.   Also here are their sons Andy, Jim, and Jeff. With Jeff are his wife, Julie, and their two beautiful children Amanda and PJ. Making the trip from California is our daughter, Louise, and her two fine sons, Sam and Matt Bertken. Sam just graduated from high school and plans to attend Kalamazoo College. Sam has studied piano for many years. He has been to Japan twice and can speak Japanese. Matt will be a senior in high school and he is our professional drummer. He belongs to two jazz bands. From Haddonfield our son, Steve, and his wife, Tracey, and their son Jack. Tracey is our gourmet cook. Jack keeps active with many sports. His latest sport is crew. They practice on the Cooper River. Making the trip from Connecticut is our son, Brad, and his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Nicky and Natalie. Nicky has been playing soccer and helping his Dad landscape. Natalie is our only granddaughter. She loves all princess things like “Cinderella”.  She is quite agile and enjoys gymnastics and dance.
